The hotel is true to its name , nestled right on the forest edge. lush gardens surrounded me , and the sounds of the jungle were constant. a trail within the grounds led directly into the jungle. I walked it several times and found it more challenging than expected. the air conditioning in the chalet provided welcome relief.

the vegetarian options at the restaurant were somewhat limited for my taste. i ended up eating the same dishes frequently. while the food was delicious , a greater variety would have been nice.

the hotel includes a restaurant with great quality and value , where guests are welcome to enjoy delicious food ,cocktails ,and beers. a plunge pool offers a nice cool-off option during humid afternoons. well kept grounds create a pleasant and safe environment.

the location provides convenient access to animal sanctuaries. it is a short walk to the orangutan sanctuary and sun bear rehabilitation centre. rainforest discovery centre is also accessible within a reasonable walk or a short taxi ride.

the staff were very attentive and friendly , ready to assist. front desk staff helped plan excursions and organize transport smoothly. they are always happy to help and very cute , which enhanced my stay.

i found the jungle view from the room lovely. ac worked really well! the restaurant offered excellent service, and the food tasted good.

the pool was being updated and not in use . but i understand these things happen sometimes.
