My stay at this resort was simply delightful. The surroundings felt like paradise, and the rooms were luxurious yet rustic, providing a unique experience. The dining options, while mostly tasty, had a couple of missteps. The location was perfect for exploring nearby wildlife, though a few facilities could have used some improvement.
The lodge is set in a peaceful area right next to the orangutan and sun bear sanctuaries, offering a unique experience amidst nature. While the rooms were basic and could use some updating, the outdoor shower was a delightful surprise. The dining options were a mixed bag, with some delicious food but limited choices for those with dietary restrictions. The staff provided excellent service, particularly in helping organize an unexpected birthday celebration.
This resort offers a beautiful jungle oasis with uniquely designed chalets featuring fantastic outside showers and serene views. The food was enjoyable, but breakfast options felt a bit repetitive. Overall, it's a lovely place to unwind after exploring local attractions, though the Wi-Fi situation could be improved since it’s limited to one area.
This resort offers a unique and intimate jungle getaway with comfortable chalets and beautiful surroundings. While I loved the peaceful atmosphere and proximity to wildlife, the dining experience left something to be desired and I encountered an awkward situation on Christmas Day. Overall, it’s a lovely escape if you appreciate nature and rustic charm.
Our stay at the Sepilok Forest Edge Resort was a memorable escape into nature. The bungalows were spacious and charming, offering a lovely view of the forest. The service was warm and accommodating, although the breakfast could use some improvement. The location was ideal for those looking to explore wildlife reserves, but the dining options at breakfast left something to be desired. Overall, it was a unique experience, especially for nature lovers.
